OK - help Victor and I solve an 8 year dispute.
Do you brush your teeth before you eat breakfast or after?
(According to my dear husband, there is a right and wrong answer. Are you right or wrong?)
Please give your answer in the comment section.
Thank you and the winning answer will be displayed next week - or whenever there are enough of MY answers to prove that I'm right.

Well, seeing that I am a dental hygienist the right answer is AFTER you eat breakfast BUT for the sake of your family it is also BEFORE you eat b/c of the bad breath in the mornings. :) So, you are both right! :) But, I do have to say I hate brushing before I eat breakfast b/c toothpaste and orange juice don't mix! So, I get up and eat immediately then brush. So, I would really say the person who said AFTER is MOST right. :) Hope this helps. Happy Brushing!!!!
I've heard to wait 30 minutes after eating to brush- something about the enamel being softened by food acids and brushing right after eating could not be good- who knows- I don't remember where I heard that- I could be making it up- sorry, not much help here!! :)
Let's just say when you get up at 5AM to go to the gym before eating breakfast you BETTER brush your teeth before eating, but after breakfast and coffee (2 hours later!) brushing seems necessary again. So can the answer be BOTH? (Just speaking for myself of course.) :)
