Did you know?

Did you know that there is a pile of clothes in my closet that has been waiting to be ironed since August? Yes, that's 6 months. I don't do ironing.
Did you know that on Victor's nightstand you can find 48 books, 18 magazines, 3 days of newspapers and miscelaneous papers? And a lot of dust, because I'm not allowed to move his things. No comment.
Did you know that in our kitchen pantry you will find 19 boxes of cereal? I clearly have a problem with sales and double coupons at Vons. Is there a support group for addicted coupon users?
Did you know that I am so technologically challenged that I need to ask for help making a simple copy at Kinko's?
That's all the dirt I can come up with for tonight.

hi debbie,
here's my first installment on your blog. this is charlie, by the way, and it is the first time that i have ever involved myself in something so shallow as a public blog on the internet - something that i would never even allow my kids to do because i think it is socially and intellectually regressive to actually expose one's daily life and personal thoughts to the world at large. :) anyway, you got me to laughing because ogui has all that stuff by his bed and you're not allowed to touch it. welcome to the vazquez male who clearly has been genetically engineered to read voraciously while protecting his most precious psossessions and pastime like a caveman over his kill. it has taken me years but i have finally gotten ellen to not touch 'my stuff' that lies cluttered by my side of the bed, which also makes no sense to her but to me is my whole life. though she doesn't touch it anymore i'm still trying to get her to have a code of silence, i.e., no nagging about the mess i have there. ogui and i love to read so it is just the way things are (and it beats sucking our thumbs or cuddling with a security blanket). now i'm trying to figure out how to get my kids to love reading...compared to us they are practically illiterate...maybe that has something to do with our wives. chau, charlie
